Essential Criteria:
  • Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification, with specialization as per the role applied for (where applicable).
  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or eligibility to obtain prior to commencement.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and implement high-quality teaching and learning programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to professional growth and collaboration.
  • Must have valid working rights in Australia (Permanent Resident, Australian or New Zealand citizen, or British citizen younger than 35 years old).
  • AITSL Skills assessment if sponsorship is required
Australia systematically recognises teaching degrees from New Zealand, the UK, the USA, Ireland & Canada.

Teaching degrees from other countries can be recognised through a skills assessment with the Australian Institute for Teaching & School Leadership OR The New Zealand Qualifications Authority.
